Project Scope:
The project consisted of the construction of a complete new
structural concrete foundation walls for the building foundation
and for the undercarriage of the carousel. The existing space
limitation, of as little as two feet, made this project especially
challenging. In addition to the foundation work, we also restored
all the existing windows, provided new roofing and a new cupola.

Project Scope:
This project consisted of the replacement of the exterior trim
and roofing at the historic Hazard library. It involved matched
all profiles of wood trim and the provision of an historical
replicated roof shingle.
Project Name: Stadium Theatre Renovation Phase 2, 4 and 5
Owner: Stadium Theatre Foundation- Woonsocket

Project Scope:
Maron Construction performed three phases of renovations to
the Stadium Theatre. The first and second phases consisted of
a complete new HVAC system, new roof and complete new Electrical
Distribution system. In addition, all new stage lighting, controls
and curtains were installed. The third phase consisted of the
reconstruction of the lobby area of this turn of the century
theatre.

Project Scope:
This project consisted of the replication of the original doors
and windows at the Rhode Island State House. The windows were
of the same species and style as the original, as was the new
hardware. We had to replicate the exact paint color of the original
windows.

Project Scope:
The project consisted of the removal of the partial second floor
and roof and the addition of a full size second floor. Also
included was the complete renovation of the first floor space.
All new mechanical, plumbing, electrical and architectural finishes
were utilized throughout the facility. This project was challenging
because of the location. Material and manpower had to be imported
to the island.

Project Scope:
This project consisted of renovations and additions to 9 buildings
for the Woonsocket Housing Authority. It included extensive
renovations to the interiors, including new kitchens, heating
and plumbing systems. The exterior of the buildings had new
roof and siding installed. Extensive sitework between building
were performed. This project was performed in three phases in
order to facilitate movement of tenants from one building to
another.

Project Scope:
This project consisted of the renovation to four college dormitories
located on the main campus of the University of Rhode Island.
They include asbestos abatement, aluminum windows, new wall
and floor finishes, life safety system including a new fire
alarm and wet sprinkler system. Also included were the construction
of small additions to house a new elevator for handicap accessibility.
This project was phased over two years.

Project Scope:
This project consisted of the complete renovation of the Heathman
Hall Dormitory located on the main campus of the University
of Rhode Island. It included new Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical
systems. It also included renovations to the bathrooms, student
rooms and common areas. Life safety systems were installed throughout
the building. Extensive site renovations were required to make
the building ADA compliant. This project was phased over two
summers, while the students were not in school.

Project Scope:
This project was performed on a design build basis with the
Department of Navy where we converted an open space into a complete
industrial kitchen, a cafeteria serving area, a luncheon sit
down area and a VIP dining room. This project consisted of many
high quality products and was a showcase at the Naval War College.
This project received many accommodations for its quick turnover
and the quality of workmanship.

Project Scope: This was a design build project which consisted
of a small addition to an elementary school, which had all facets
of construction from Division 2-16. The other portion was a
classroom fit-out whereby the Town split up larger classrooms
into smaller ones. Again, most facets of construction were utilized.

Project Scope:
This Design build project consisted of the complete exterior
façade of the building for energy code issues. It included a
complete insulation and dryvit system, with associated windows

Name: Renovations to Roland Hall

Project Scope:
This was a complicated rehabilitation project incorporating
many phases of work in an occupied building. Various interior
aspects of the building were demolished and rebuilt in its entirety.
In addition, a complete new electrical, mechanical, and sprinkler
system was installed throughout the five-story building. A complete
new shower and gang toilet facility was built within the existing
space. Finally, a very complicated mechanical room addition
was installed to facilitate the installation of the new HVAC
equipment. Throughout all this, the building remained occupied
and in full use for the duration of the project.
Project Name: Auditorium Repairs & Gymnasium Improvements,
Needham High School

Project Scope:
Complete renovation to existing auditorium to include new seating,
complete HVAC system, electrical, and all architectural finishes.
Also, the refurbishment of the gymnasium to included new HVAC
system, electrical system, bleachers, floor finishes, and architectural
finishes. This project was performed while students were in
the school.

Name: Turbine Generator No. 6

Project Scope:
The project consisted of installing a cogeneration plant at
the boiler plant (Building 29). The project was high tech in
nature which involved providing and installing a 5 mega watt
turbine generator, a 50,000 lbs waste heat recovery boiler and
a gas boost compressor. In addition to the above, two (2) small
additions were installed, one of which was a 20’ high poured
in place concrete shell and the other was a small metal building.
The foundations consisted of wood sheet piling with massive
concrete equipment foundations. Also included in the scope of
work was a complete new electrical distribution system for the
new facility.

Project Scope:
The project consisted of the construction of a maintenance facility
in support of the new Johnston, Rhode Island power plant. In

The project consisted of the replacement of the complete electrical

Project
Name: John Eliot Elementary School, Needham, MA

Project Scope:
The construction of a 45,000 sq ft elementary school for the
Town of Needham. The work included demolition of the existing
school, extensive site development, construction of a gymnasium,
multi-purpose room, performance center, and baseball field.
The construction was metal stud with brick back up and metal
siding. All aspects of construction were utilized from Division
2-17, including specialized flooring systems.
Project Name: Sackett Street School Addition, Providence, RI

Project Scope:
Construction of an addition to the Sackett Street Elementary
School for the City of Providence. Block construction was utilized
for both the exterior shell and interior partitions. Structural
steel and precast planking were utilized in certain sections
of the addition. All aspects of construction were utilized from
Division 2-16. In addition, a very aggressive schedule was required
in order to open a portion of the addition for the start of
the school year.

High School, Stoughton, MA

Project Scope:
The project consisted of making the Stoughton High School handicap
accessible, which included replacement of all doors and hardware
within the building, complete bathroom and lavatory renovations,
and fire alarm upgrades. The project was performed while the
building was occupied and continued thru to a second shift to
expedite completion.
Project Name: Façade Improvements, Nantucket Elementary School

Project Scope:
The project consisted of complete siding, roofing and window
replacement for the only elementary school on Nantucket Island.
This project was unique and challenging because of its location
and difficulty in accessing equipment and manpower to perform
the work, both of which had to be provided from off-island sources.
In addition, the work had to be performed over a very short
time duration (summer break).

Project Scope:
The project consisted of the construction of a new state of
the Art dining facility located on the main campus of The University
of Rhode Island. This unique project is the first certified
“Green Building” performed by the State of Rhode Island. It
received the LEEDS Silver Certification. Extensive sitework
was required in order for accessibility to be achieved from
the neighboring Little Four Dormitories.

Project Name: EM Sensor Testing Facility Building 68

Completion Date: November 1997
Project Scope:
The project involved the complete interior demolition of a portion
of Building 68 at Pier No. 2 and the complete rebuilding of
all new mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, plumbing, and architectural
finishes. In addition, a 60’ high tower addition was built to
service the needs of the client. The building was being utilized
by the NUWC personnel for torpedo testing. The Department of
Navy was so pleased with our performance, a change order was
provided to outfit another portion of the building.

Construction of a four-story office/training facility for the
Department of Navy to included demolition of existing structures,

architectural finishes. All aspects of construction were utilized
from Division 2-17.

Project Scope:
The project consisted of the complete renovation to a 6-story
